Every now and then, for a fleeting moment or two, the world opens up and shows us something spectacular. Some of us, be it luck or good planning, are right there to capture that moment for ever. Photography is the medium I chose to capture that moment.
Landscape photography is my chosen genre. This means getting up early or going to bed late; traveling to sometimes isolated locations in what ever weather my minds eye requires, to capture that moment.
With a focus on end to end quality, those moments are shared with you through a careful selection of editing technique, paper stock, mounting and framing that ensures that focus is maintained. I don’t photograph to sell images. I photograph to satisfy my own creative endeavours and to capture and share the beauty of the landscape. I recognise that at times, others will love those captured moments as much as I do and they might want a print to display at home; I'm happy to sell prints when people fall in love with one of my photos.
As I learn more as a photographer, there are people who influence my work and development. I think it is important to recognise these people.
